Krishna janmastami Festival @ Sri Muralidharaswamigal Ashram

Malaipattu Village falls on the way to Sriperumbudur from Manimangalam on State Highway 110. Sri Muralidhraswamigal Ashram is there. Under the auspicious of Swamigal, Janmashtami ( Lord Krishna Jayanthi day) a 10day festival is held, every year attended by his devotees from all over India and people from nearby villages. The janmashtami ends with a float festival on the 10th day. The ashram has built and maitains two temples dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and Lord Anjaneya attached to it. Visitors to Manimangalam can also visit this Ashram and the temples attached to it.
